Bidjar with Senneh Design, 50″x60″, D0339
Very fine Bidjar rug in near perfect condition. The rug has pleasant muted earth colors and displays a medallion with the Senneh design.
Bidjar rugs are hand knotted in Northwest Persia. Often they are made with a Senneh medallion design, displaying a Mahi or fish motif further executed throughout the rug.
Wool pile (knots) on cotton foundation (weft and warp).
