Vintage NW Persian Shahsavan kilim, D0366. Dim: 78″ x 45″
Material: wool on wool (i.e., all woolen knots, warp and weft); condition: excellent.
Remarks: This is a very well drawn, balanced, clean design with a white field studded with the Armenian cross, Double E element and sun birds .at the top and bottom of piece. All vegetable and natural dyes with abrash colors from hand dyed wool skeins as found in textiles made with natural dyes of different dye lots. Each end has the original braided and tied off wool fringe. Use on the floor, as a furniture throw, or display on a wall.
